Striped Scorpion

The Striped scorpion, also known as the Devil’s scorpion, is the most widespread scorpion in the United States.

A much smaller species of scorpion, the Striped scorpion measures approximately 1 to 1.5 inches; in total length. This species has a painful sting, which (often) lasts for several hours. In fact, it is often the risk of such an attack, that prompts homeowners to consider exterminating these pests; at the first sign of an invasion.

In nature, a Striped scorpion will feed on worms, spiders, crickets, small invertebrates; and occasionally smaller members of it's own species.
