Ladybug

There are a few species of ladybugs that are considered pests in North America and Europe. However, most people consider them to be Beneficial insects. Because many species feed on aphids, scale insects, mealybugs, and mites, the ladybug can provide effective natural pest control services; for gardens, agricultural fields, orchards, and similar places.

In the United States, ladybugs usually begin to appear indoors in the fall. Abandoning their summer feeding sites in fields, forests and yards, in favor of a warmer place to spend the winter. Furthermore, homes and buildings located near fields or wooded areas, are more likely to be subject to ladybug pest control problems.

  1. A few ladybugs introduced to a garden can provide many pest control benefits. However, in the Fall, ladybugs need a warmer environment to survive. As such, they often invade homes and buildings, creating a subsequent need for pest control services; to deter an infestation of ladybugs.
