Aphids

Also known as greenflies, blackflies or whiteflies, aphids are small sap sucking insects.

Aphids are among the most destructive insect pests. In fact, approximately two-hundred and fifty species of aphids are known to create serious pest control problems, for the agriculture and forestry Industries; as well as homeowners and gardeners.

Although there are various insecticides that can be applied to control aphids, homeowners may want to consider plant extracts, eco-friendly plant products or beneficial insects; to naturally exterminate aphids.

  1. Aphids are a tiny, well-known pest, that can cause big problems; for farmers and gardeners. Although your first thought might be to call an exterminator to deal with these invaders, many species of common insects; can help control the pest problem.

  2. With many names and many species, aphids are by far the most common garden pest problem. In an effort to avoid damaging plants, fruits, flowers or vegatables, gardeners and farmers may consider introducing beneficial insects, to provide effective pest control services; that could eliminate the aphids problem.
