Soldier Beetle

The Soldier beetle is also known as the Leatherwing. Highly desired by gardeners, this beneficial insect provides natural pest control services; in gardens and flower beds.

The Soldier beetle supplements it's aphids diet with nectar and pollen, and as a result, this natural exterminator acts as a minor pollinator; as well.

Homeowners wishing to encourage the growth and development of a strong Soldier beetle population, should introduce nectar and pollen producing plants to their gardening environment.
