Termites

Termites, sometimes called White ants (although not closely related to true ants), are typically catagorized into three types; dependant upon location and biological habits:
  1. Subterranean termites
  2. Dry Wood termites
  3. Damp Wood termites
Because some members of the termite species (approximately 10 percent) are known to cause damage to structures and property, termites often become the target of concerned homeowners, exterminating experts and local pest control professionals.

  1. A home and property are an investment. If homeowners and property managers do not take the necessary pest control precautions, termite pests could quickly "eat-away"; at their treasured investment.

  2. It is very important for homeowners and property managers, to have an experienced pest control service correctly identify the species of pest problem; before considering any treatment methods. In this case, a homeowner may think that there is an invasion of (white) ants, when in fact the pests are termites.
